We were approached in 2008 to design the identity and a bespoke two-storey wall mural for Lantana café in Fitzrovia, London. The project included the logo, stationery and packaging along with the wall, which was produced in London over many late night email conferences.
We designed and art directed the A/W09 kidswear catalogue for Country Road. It was a rugged-up winter story with a Scandinavian feel inspired by the range.

Brooksfield is a Melbourne based menswear label known for casual and business collections. This is our first project with the brand, the Winter 2010 campaign for magazine, catalogue and outdoor advertising.
Clare Bowditch & The Feeding Set are a Melbourne based band. This album artwork included a booklet of essays and lyrics which Kat hand wrote to suit the stream of consciousness style of Clare’s writing. The artwork won a commendation at the 2009 AGDA Awards.
Trenery is the new label from Country Road, designing sophisticated men’s and women’s wear for the Australian and South African markets. This is the launch catalogue of the brand.

Working closely with the architectural firm Grant Amon, we created the identity for Sarnies, a city café in Melbourne. The concept started as an interpretation of a picnic in the park, and grew into a surreal picnic-deli-wonderland with a fifteen metre canvas wall mural.
Concept development, casting and art direction for Big by Fiona Scanlan, an incredibly beautiful range of clothing for little girls aged two to eight, and Fiona, an equally lovely range for older girls up to aged twelve.
Working closely with Bloom, have designed, illustrated and named a number of ranges and visual merchandising projects covering skin care, tanning products, Christmas graphics and bath and body ranges included.
Third Drawer Down is a Melbourne based business bringing art to domestic settings. Kat’s illustrations are included on an apron, a handkerchief, pillow cases, decal rubdowns and a plate. A duvet cover (exclusively for Urban Outfitters US) completes the range.
Published by Penguin Australia, Michi’s first book Like I Give a Frock was a bestseller within two months. It was written by Chloe and her partner Daniel Pollock, illustrated by Kat and designed by Simone – a family affair! It has since been published in the USA, UK and France. Michi’s second book is in the making.
Working with Yoejin Bae was a great experience as we were given the freedom to design this appliqué after Yeojin showed us her prints for the range. From one of Kat’s drawings, Yeojin applied the design to tanks and dresses.
Kat’s illustrations are a regular feature of each issue of Vogue E+T. She has been illustrating for them since 2006.
Body is an independently owned, Melbourne based fashion label. They came to us with a logo but they needed a broader graphic language. We created a family of illustrated stripes which were applied to swing tags, sew-in labels, shopping bags and later curtains for the change rooms.

Michi Girl is our other business so of course we want her to look as beautiful as possible. The brand was designed and illustrated by us in 2004 and has since grown to have 30,000 unique visitors a month and books with Penguin Australia, Chronicle Books USA and Apple in the UK.
This campaign was a catalogue and a series of in-store shots. It was shot on location in regional Victoria. We designed, art directed and produced all aspects of the project.

The Gumboots childrenswear brand was established in the Eighties and came to us in 2006 for a rebrand. The brief for the iconic brand covered all aspects of the business. In rebranding them we looked at their values, product, store design, graphics and online presence.
We designed, art directed and produced the Gumboots catalogue and instore posters for Winter 2008. The catalogue was a winter story set in a schoolyard and inspired by traditional school portraits.
Gumboots S/S 08 was a simple, clean and fun studio shoot with lots of movement and energy to hero the clothes.
Gumboots S/S 07 heroed the new brand identity which it was launching. It focused on the energy of the children, the clothes and was printed as a broadsheet sized newspaper to announce the brand’s new start. Sales for Gumboots after this launch were over fifty percent above budget.

Arc One Gallery is a Flinders Lane gallery for which we designed various invitations and show catalogues.
Made in Australia was an exhibition and installation by Melbourne artist Viv Mehes. It was launched during Refugee Week 2008. We designed the identity and corresponding material for Viv’s show including signage, catalogues, invitations and postcards.
