Marquise Celebrating 80 Years


Marquise first approached us to help them to celebrate 80 years of the brand. Marquise is an Australian institution in babywear and needed to get back to front of mind for new mothers. The birthday celebration was the perfect excuse. 


Ortolan created a year-long campaign for Marquise, including events, above the line, direct mail, and public relations. Two catalogues were art directed and designed – one for retailers and one for consumers. The campaign also included print advertising, a brand new website and digital campaign, collaborations with designers and other institutions such as charities and hospitals, and a strong social and PR campaign. 


Marquise is experiencing an unprecedented growth in their business and has returned to Ortolan for all the subsequent seasons. The business is growing in other areas, and has a newfound interest in social media and is front of mind to a new, younger audience.
