Community media’s biggest supporter
We developed a fresh identity for the Community Broadcasting Foundation as they celebrated their thirtieth year. The CBF is an organisation that distributes grants from the Australian Government’s Community Broadcasting Program to community media organisations. The identity is based around the idea of communication and movement, the dissemination of information—resulting in a playful and kinetic palette of soft gradients; a visual manifestation of ‘sound’. The Logo uses a radio wave in place of the ‘mm’ in Community, bringing a looser more dynamic element to contrast the other letterforms crisp confidence. It’s an unexpected but vibrant union which captures the essence of the Community Broadcasting Foundation as community media’s biggest supporter.
