Dotti first came to us without a defined brand strategy, engaging Ortolan to articulate their positioning and develop a strategy for launching their new online shopping platform. This foundational work set the direction for a long-standing partnership built on insight, agility and forward-thinking creative leadership.
By analysing the fast-fashion landscape and defining their customer, we identified a distinct opportunity for Dotti. Social media was in its infancy at the time, yet we recognised early that the Dotti shopper would be among the first to embrace it. This insight led to the brand positioning Fashion Democracy — a platform that reframed Dotti as a socially engaged brand in active dialogue with its audience, and a remarkably progressive stance for the era.
This strategic foundation has continued to guide the brand’s evolution for nearly two decades. Our ongoing partnership has enabled Dotti to adapt quickly to retail shifts, stay relevant to a highly social audience and maintain a strong, consistent presence across digital, in-store and campaign channels — a testament to the power of long-term, insight-driven creative collaboration.
