To elevate the Laminex brand and strengthen customer connection, we developed a storytelling approach that brought audiences closer to the people, processes and precision behind local production. By shifting the narrative from purely functional to deeply human, the films were designed to educate, inspire and build emotional affinity with Laminex as a proudly Australian manufacturer.
Shot at the Laminex Ballarat plant and Cheltenham factory, the first film follows the making of decorated board and high-pressure laminate. Our creative direction focused on elevating the mechanical nature of large-scale production — using a simplified, sequential narrative to highlight the beauty of industrial processes and the skilled people who guide them.
Both films were housed on the Laminex website, shared across social channels, screened in-house and presented at trade shows. Together, they built a deeper understanding of the making process and strengthened Laminex’s position as a trusted, locally focused manufacturer.
